Just unsure about it all...

Well, it's official: My muse has bitten me in the bum & won't let go. I just finished a series of drawings last night, re-drew several old pieces to reflect my updated skills, & have been egged on by my friends to start going through maybe commissioning my designs for people.

I don't know. I don't think my designs are at all up to someone actually making something from them. But, I keep getting razzed by one friend in particular (Timbertoes, you know who the hell you are!) to do something professionally, quote unquote.

Honestly, I have no idea how to go about doing that, & I'm not sure I even want to at this point... I'd like to maybe work on a few things before I "go public", as it were.

Maybe you guys would give me pointers? Suggestions? I'm kinda clueless when it comes to doing something along these lines.

I'm glad to hear that your muse is active.

I'm clueless when it comes to commissions with regards to dresses and fashion design. If someone is willing to pay you for your creativity, then go for it. You certainly have plenty of creativity.

I too think you've definately got the talent to go on professionally - but again I've no idea where to begin - there must be someone here who can give pointers though? The staff?
